Are you ready to make a positive impact on those facing mental health challenges?

Council is partnering with local community organisations to offer FREE Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to residents and volunteers.

Once certified you can provide vital support to those experiencing mental health problems.

Types of training that can be offered alongside Standard MHFA include Youth MHFAOlder Person MHFA and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander MHFA training.

An accredited MHFA instructor can guide you to:

  • Provide Skills: Provides skills needed to speak openly about mental health.
  • Respond in a Crisis: Respond across a range of crisis situations where an adult may be at risk of harm
