Pay your rates

We offer many ways for you to pay your rates.

Pay your rates online

Before you start

Read about your payment frequency options and how to pay your rates using one of the options below.

We've introduced more flexible ways for you to manage your rates payments. There are now 3 ways you can pay your rates. Choose the option that best suits your needs.

Pay in full

If you prefer to pay your rates in full, you can do this before 15 February either online, or at Council’s Civic Centre and Community Links.

Pay quarterly

You can pay your rates in 4 equal instalments in September, November, February and May in person or online.

Pay how and when you want

You can choose smaller, more frequent payments (for example, weekly, fortnightly, monthly), adjust your schedule if your circumstances change, and always stay on top of your balance using our online payment system, Payble.

Note

From 2025 onwards, we are no longer offering a 9-installment payment plan. If you were on this plan, you will need to use our online payment system, Payble, to set up a new payment plan.

The easiest and most convenient way to pay your rates is using our online payment system, Payble. You can:

  • choose to pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly
  • set up a direct debit plan
  • use a credit/debit card or bank account
  • receive SMS reminders before each payment is due
  • check your balance anytime.

Setting up your Payble account is free and easy.

About Payble

Payble is a free online payment platform. It is an Australian company, backed by CommBank. Payble meets the ACCC Consumer Data Right regulations. Read the Payble Privacy Terms and Conditions

How does Payble work?

By setting up a Payble account, you can nominate your own rates payment dates and amounts. You can nominate to pay your rates in smaller, more frequent payments (for example, weekly, fortnightly, monthly) to better suit your needs.
