Council is currently spraying blackberries during their growth period between November and March, and is urging the community not to eat them.
The main roads into Yarra Glen will soon receive new ‘community gateways’ thanks to VicRoads, to improve safety for drivers and welcome visitors and traffic passing through. Yarra Glen is surrounded by high-speed roads, where drivers and riders are required to significantly lower their speed when approaching the town.
