An Extreme Fire Danger Rating has been forecast for the Central region of Victoria, including Yarra Ranges, on Friday 9 January 2026.

Warburton Water World, Warburton Mountain Bike Park, Olinda Outdoor Pool, Arts Centre Warburton, Karwarra Gardens, Birdsland Reserve, Upwey Community Link and Healesville Community Link will be closed.

This day has also been declared a day of Total Fire Ban.
