Present the voucher to your vet at the time of admission for desexing. Under the desexing voucher scheme, your vet will discount their advertised fee by 25% and Council also contribute a set amount. You pay the discounted desexing fee directly to the vet, either on admission for or discharge from surgery. We then pay the set amount directly to the veterinary practice on receipt of the veterinarian’s account.
