The return of the annual Yarra Ranges Downhill Festival is a 3 day downhill skateboard,street luge & inline skate racing festival where riders will compete in head to head racing at speeds up to 90km/h down Mt Donna Buang Summit Rd. The international level community event will be open to riders to participate recreationally & competitively. An accessible track provides strategic racing & opportunities for riders to learn a new sport and push their skating abilities in a safe & supportive environment. Spectating is free and welcome for people to watch the unique display of skill & talent. Facilities & amenities are available such as toilets & food truck 'Mountain Tucker' offering hot food & beverages to attendees & spectators each day.
Volunteer positions now open and local town folk of Warburton & residents of the Yarra Ranges Shire are encouraged to apply. Allowance for food & drink provided as well as a free event T shirt & cabin style accommodation. Not to mention an awesome opportunity to discover a new sport & community with riders from all over Australia & the world.
