Lillydale Lake Wetland Works

Yarra Ranges Council and Melbourne Water have worked collaboratively through the planning and implementation of the project to limit the impact of construction on the community and environment

As part of the dewatering works, qualified ecologists have been engaged to undertake the salvage and relocation of any animals within the wetland.

The salvaging will enable over 2,300 native aquatic animals to be safely relocated to the adjacent Olinda Creek
