As the local government elections will be held on 26 October 2024, Yarra Ranges Council will assume a caretaker role from Tuesday 17 September 2024. During the caretaker period, there will be limited changes made to the content on Council's websites. Information will only be added to this website in accordance with caretaker requirements.
Please note: Only registered skip bin companies can apply for a skip bin permit. Residents and property owners need to contact a local company to hire a skip bin.
To complete your application, you will need to provide:
your ABN
a copy of your public liability insurance certificate for a minimum of $20 million. This policy must be valid for the entire permit period.
credit card information to process your payment upfront.
Please note: your skip bin permit application will incur a $66 fee.
