FOGO starts 2 October

Your FOGO bin will be collected weekly and your rubbish and recycling bins on alternate fortnightly.

Don't worry if your bin lid has not been changed to red, your rubbish bin will still be collected. The lids will be changed over in the coming months.

Our executive team

Yarra Ranges Council is led by the Chief Executive Officer, who operates under the delegation of the elected Council and is responsible for the overall management and performance of all council operations, services and infrastructure delivery. The Chief Executive Officer, along with a group of directors, forms Council’s Executive Team.

Tammi Rose - Chief Executive Officer

Tammi Rose joined Yarra Ranges Council as Chief Executive Officer in 2019. She is a passionate values based leader with 25 years’ experience working across public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

Andrew Hilson - Director of Corporate Services

Andrew has a passion for community impact and believes in the power of local government to bring communities together. Andrew has a wide range of experiences with both corporate and non-profit organisations.

Jane Price - Director of Communities

Jane has qualifications in Applied Science Health Promotion, a Masters in Public Health and is a graduate of the Australian Company Directors course. She has more than 20 years' experience in Government and is passionate about improving health outcomes, applying systems thinking and human-centred design to her work to get the best results for the Yarra Ranges community.

Kath McClusky - Director of Planning and Sustainable Futures

Kath has more than 21 years' experience in Local Government and is a qualified planner with experience in strategic, land use, social and sustainability planning. She is committed to improving outcomes for the community in the planning and economic development functions of Council.

Hjalmar Philipp - Director of Built Environment & Infrastructure

Hjalmar joined the organisation in 2023 as Director of Built Environment and Infrastructure. He brings a wealth of international and local government expertise to Yarra Ranges.
