Perfect if you’re looking to be involved for a couple of weeks or months, to help organise events or contribute for a short time to an ongoing project

Current opportunities

Public art opportunity for Indigenous artists

Yarra Ranges Council, in collaboration with Council’s Indigenous Advisory Committee (IAC), are looking to develop several public water tank artworks that will reflect the significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander connection to Country, history and culture of the Yarra Ranges.  If you are a young Indigenous artist, you are encouraged to fill out an Expression of Interest form, which closes on Friday 5th November. 

YACVic COVID Youth Ambassadors

Youth Affairs Council Victoria (YACVic) are looking for 10 young people to help design a campaign, encouraging young people to get vaccinated and stay COVID-safe. You can also choose to be involved in media engagements. All of these are paid opportunities - up to $1,000 for around 25 hours of work!

Burrinja Arts Festival

Burrinja Arts Festival (BAF21) is a three-day multimedia, multisensory explosion of creative talent in the Yarra Ranges. Taking over the entire Burrinja Cultural Centre for three days, artists, creatives, and facilitators will be showcasing their talents and inviting the community to connect after a long year in lockdown.
