Reconciliation Week Film Screening of WINHANGANHA

WINHANGANHA Presented by the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (Wiradjuri language: Remember, know, think) is a lyrical journey of archival footage and sound, poetry and original composition. It is an examination of how archives and the legacies of collection affect First Nations people and wider Australia, told through the lens of acclaimed Wiradjuri artist, Jazz Money. 

Join the Yarra Valley Reconciliation Group for a special Reconciliation Week screening of the film WINHANGANHA. The message of the film is love and hope, reimagining the future while redefining the past. Followed by conversation, sharing and delicious afternoon tea.

The National Reconciliation Week (NRW) 2025 theme, Bridging Now to Next, reflects the ongoing connection between past, present and future. At a time when Australia faces uncertainty in its reconciliation journey, this theme calls on all Australians to step forward together. Bridging Now to Next urges us to look ahead and continue the push forward as past lessons guide us.
