Join Lyrebird expert Alex Maisey on this walk through wet forest, cool temperate rainforest gullies and the damp forest that grows on the northern aspects. You'll hopefully see lyrebirds, birds and mammals along the way.

You'll learn about:

  • lyrebirds and their habitat
  • revegetation works and how they support the lyrebird population
  • threats to wildlife in the area
  • how you can get involved in various projects.

This is a leisurely paced walk, however, a moderate rate of fitness is required. Wear sturdy walking footwear, BYO insect spray, water and binoculars if you have them.

Numbers are limited, registration essential.
