The Friends of the Helmeted Honeyeater invite you to join us for a morning of citizen science, paying particular attention to the plants, frogs and fungi.
Our mission? With no experience or knowledge needed, and a few minutes to learn, our focus will be on:
Our time will be spent under the dappled shade of a beautiful expanse of Eucalyptus trees, walking a section of the Conservation Area that visitors rarely see.
This morning is all about learning from each other, with a focus on enjoying being out in the bush together. No experience is needed, just a willingness to participate and share. You'll have the opportunity to learn about the management priorities, successes and challenges for this important ecosystem.
Our surveys operate within a gated and locked Conservation Area and we move away from the entry point for our event. You'll need to be able to commit to the arrival/start times listed. Registrations close 24 hours before an event.
