Fraud Control Policy

Yarra Ranges Council is a custodian of significant community resources including assets, funds and resources. It is important that the community has confidence and assurance that these resources are adequately protected from fraud and corruption. The Fraud Control Policy has been prepared to bring together in a formal and integrated way Council’s stance on fraud and corruption, and its approach to preventing, detecting and managing fraud and corruption perpetrated against Council or by Councillors, council employees, council volunteers and council contractors.
