The Friends of Minak’s aim is to continue Darcy Duggan’s legacy by working to protect Minak Reserve Bushland from the impacts of invasive weeds, monitoring the condition of the reserve and preserving its biodiversity values for future generations. Minak is a special bushland area providing significant habitat values, serving to link significant areas of local parks and bushland.
We meet the first Sunday of the month, from 10am to 12.30pm.. Monthly working bees involving weeding activities, occasional planting and walks to monitor reserve and enjoy its nature. We welcome any assistance in helping to maintain the reserve's natural values.
Meet outside Selby House hall.
