YARRA VALLEY QUARRY EXTENSION PROJECT – 130 McMahons Creek Road and 30 Moora Road Mount Toolebewong

Council has been advised by the Minister for Planning that the proposed extension of the existing quarry at 130 McMahons Creek Road into the adjoining property to the north at 30 Moora Road Mount Toolebewong will not require an environment effects statement (EES) under the Environment Effects Act 1978, subject to the condition that an environment report is to be prepared for the project and submitted with other required approval processes.

A planning permit will be required under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 for use and development and removal of native vegetation.
