This initiative supports professionals in learning from families in the Upper Yarra. Through the experiences of young children aged 0-6 years, the initiative uses powerful storytelling to explore:
-
parent and caregiver perspectives on what contributes to children’s social and emotional wellbeing
-
how and where families connect with their community
-
how families access support services
Positive social and emotional wellbeing helps children to form strong relationships, build resilience, and stay engaged in learning. However, local data and evidence shows that children in the Upper Yarra are experiencing challenges in this area.
You can read what families told us in the Listen to Learn Findings Report.
