OK BOOMER takes you on a heartfelt and relatable journey through four decades of Australian life. Join two grandparents as they open their family photo album and relive the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s — sharing love, laughter, struggles, surprises and memories that shaped a family.

One photo album. Two grandparents. Four decades of memories.

Before smartphones, social media and Google Maps, there were family photo albums — filled with faded photographs, handwritten notes, questionable hairstyles and stories that somehow got better with every telling.

OK Boomer is a warm, funny and nostalgic theatrical and musical journey through the lives of two grandparents as they open their treasured photo album and share their story with their grandchildren.

From the innocence and excitement of growing up in 1950s Australia, through the rebellious spirit of the 60s, the changing social landscape of the 70s, and into the colourful, energetic 80s, we follow their journey from childhood and young love to marriage, parenthood and the creation of a family.

Along the way there are school days, dances, backyard barbecues, family arguments, changing fashions, music, technology and all the trials and tribulations that come with growing up and growing older.

But as the photographs turn, the grandchildren begin to realise that these aren't simply old pictures — they are the foundations of their own family story.

Funny, heartfelt and filled with songs and memories that will have audiences saying "I remember that!", OK Boomer celebrates a generation that grew up in a very different Australia, while reminding us that love, family, dreams, mistakes and memories are timeless.

Because every family has a story.

And every photograph has a story behind it.
