Repair Cafes

Many items can be repaired, however, knowing where to go or how much it will cost is often a barrier to getting them fixed. Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things together. Repair Cafes are run by volunteers who have a variety of skills and tools who will look at your broken item and attempt to repair it free of charge while you wait. You are even encouraged to help so you can earn how to fix your own items.

Items that may be able to be repaired include:

clothes
small furniture
electrical appliances
bicycles
crockery
household appliance
toys.

Investing in the Upper Yarra Family Centre

The Upper Yarra Family Centre will be undergoing essential roof replacement works to maintain the building’s safety and structural integrity.
