Play School Toy Community Call-Out

Play School:  Come and Play! is coming to Yarra Ranges Regional Museum for the summer holidays.

Celebrating 60+ years of songs, stories, and learning, this interactive exhibition invites little ones behind the scenes of Australia’s most beloved television show. Made by ACMI in collaboration with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, it’s a hands-on, playful experience where children and families can discover how Play School comes to life.

To celebrate our region's love of Play School, we are asking residents to put their own Play School toy on display at the Museum! Do you have a Big Ted, Jemima, Kiya, Little Ted, Humpty Dumpty at home?

If you would like your Play School friend to have a starring role in our upcoming exhibition, please fill out your details below.

Selected toys for display will be stored, handled and displayed under caring Museum conditions at Yarra Ranges Regional Museum. Your toy will be credited to the owner and will be displayed in one of our showcases for the duration of the exhibition.

Please submit your application by 5pm, Sunday 11 October 2026.

Please note that display space is limited, so we are not able to guarantee that every toy will be included. We will be selecting inclusions based on the strength of the stories shared, and to represent a diverse range of community members.
