You can only cancel your pet registration if your pet:
You'll need to supply your pet's name and tag number (if known).
You will need to notify your microchipping provider of your pet’s death. In Victoria, this is usually Central Animal Records.
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund of your pet’s registration fee.
Refunds for cancelled pet registrations are calculated based on the date of the pet's death and exclude the $4.64 Victorian Animal Levy. You must provide proof of the registration payment before a refund can be considered.
