The Melbourne Welsh Male Voice Choir was formed in 1984 and since then it has grown from a small group of enthusiastic singers into one of Australia’s acclaimed male choirs.
"The choir honours its Welsh roots by singing at least 25% of its repertoire in the Welsh language,. However, as a proud multicultural Australian Welsh choir we believe that good music is not limited to one language. Consequently, recent concerts have included Welsh, English, South African, Italian, Latin, Maori, Aboriginal and German songs.

Join our Musical Director, Mitch Meyer. A classically trained baritone with experience in a broad variety of choral, opera and musical theatre groups. Director Mitch Meyer has performed as a chorister, choir director and soloist.
Join also our piano accompanist, Simon Walters, a talented professional musician of over 30 years' experience.
