Cr Mitch Mazzarella was elected at 19, becoming the youngest councillor ever elected in Yarra Ranges Council and one of the youngest in Victoria. As a lifelong resident of Mooroolbark and the Melba ward, Mitch is passionate about representing the community he’s always called home. He is committed to listening to residents, ensuring Council decisions are transparent and delivering real value for ratepayers. Mitch brings a fresh perspective, with a strong focus on accountability, responsible spending and advocating for local services.
