Got an idea you’re planning to submit for the upcoming Annual Grants round? Not sure if you’re on the right track, or just want to bounce ideas with others? 

This Grants Check‑In Session is a relaxed, supportive space for creatives to come together, ask questions and sense‑check their project ideas ahead of the application deadline.

While this is not a grant writing workshop, it’s an opportunity to: 

• talk through your idea and get informal feedback
• explore whether you’re applying to the right funding stream
• clarify any questions about the process
• connect with other creatives going through the same process.

You’re welcome to drop in at any stage, whether your idea is still forming or you’re preparing to submit your application. 

Held a couple of weeks before the Annual Grants close, this session is designed to help you feel more confident and aligned before you apply.

About the program 

Ideas Incubator is a creative development program designed to help creatives bring their project ideas to life. It offers practical tools, peer exchange and guidance to support artists from early ideas through project planning, delivery and longer‑term sustainability, while recognising that every project takes its own path.

This workshop is delivered as part of the Ideas Incubator program by Yarra Ranges Council, in partnership with 'Creative Communities' and 'Partnerships & Community Building'.
