Health and wellbeing profile
Victoria's Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 requires councils to develop a municipal public health and wellbeing plan every 4 years. Each plan must include an examination of data about health status and health determinants in the municipality; and use evidence to identify goals and strategies for creating a local community in which people can achieve maximum health and wellbeing.
We have developed a detailed Yarra Ranges Health and Wellbeing Profile. It provides data on health status and health determinants, and evidence of key issues and challenges for the area. The draft version of the full profile is currently on our website. Once the Health and Wellbeing Plan, along with additional data for the profile, are finalised in October 2025, we'll add an updated version to the website. We plan to break the profile down into separate smaller, topic-based reports.
Please contact our Social Infrastructure Planning team if you have any queries about the information in this report.
