Underneath My Umbrella
Underneath My Umbrella has been supporting women impacted by family violence since 2019. We provide safe creative drop in spaces for those who are on the recovery journey, needing community connection or needing somewhere to chat with others who wholeheartedly understand the journey.
Our spaces have a simple framework: a time of connection and conversation, a creative activity focusing on value, identity and self-worth and self-care. We do not offer counselling or therapy within the space, it is a mid-space focusing on community connection.
You can find us at:
- Belgrave Library on the 3rd Wednesday of each month 2 pm to 3:30 pm
- Knox Library fortnightly Mondays 1:30 pm to 3:00pm
