Whether you’re looking for space for quiet reflection, seeking an artistic challenge, or aiming to gain valuable career insights, the YVA Spring Sessions offer opportunities for all. Materials are provided, or you can bring your own, expert guidance is on hand and you’ll be welcomed into a vibrant and supportive creative community.

LIFE DRAWING - Untutored

Discover a relaxed, inspiring space where creativity flows and the human form takes centre stage. Yarra Valley Arts welcomes artists of all levels to our untutored Life Drawing sessions - a chance to hone your skills, explore gesture and anatomy and connect with fellow creatives in a welcoming environment.

You’re invited to immerse yourself in the timeless art of figure drawing. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, these sessions offer a supportive atmosphere to practice, experiment and grow. Each session is supported by an experienced Yarra Valley Arts member who will be available to offer guidance if needed, Professional life models provided, materials supplied.

OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING: Awakening the Eye

Step into a quiet space of mindfulness through the transformative practice of observational drawing. These sessions invite you to slow down, tune in, and truly see. Drawing sharpens focus, deepens observation, and nurtures creativity - a powerful tool for self- expression and cognitive growth.

A thoughtfully challenging arrangement will be ready for you to draw, designed to inspire and stretch your skills. While these sessions are untutored, an experienced Yarra Valley Arts member will be on hand to offer guidance if needed.

Materials are provided, but you' re welcome to bring your preferred medium. No experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
