by arrangement with Joanna Murray-Smith
A satirical comedy directed by Fiona Carter
Margot Mason is a feminist writer suffering from writer's block. Molly Rivers, her former student, arrives unexpectedly at the country home with a gun; blaming Margot for warping her mother's mind with her best-selling book.
Chaos ensues leading to a comic but tense encounter.
Margot's daughter, her son-in-law, her publisher and a taxi driver also arrive to comment on Margot's feminist failings and the expectations placed on female public figures.
The plot is loosely based on an incident that happened to Germaine Greer.
