Supporting Sustainable Schools and Early Years

Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL)

The Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL) is a collaboration between five Councils - Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges. Through EASL, we collaborate to deliver activities to support schools and early years to embed sustainability into their curriculum and operations, as well as engage with the local community in sustainability activities.

EASL runs regular networking and professional development opportunities for teachers, educators, school staff and supporting community members. Our biennial Learning for Sustainability Conference attracts teachers and educators from across the eastern region, with keynote speakers, workshops and a 'trade exhibition' of sustainability education providers. EASL also runs student leadership events every two years. Find out more about EASL at www.easl.com.au

Find out about upcoming EASL events - subscribe to the EASL e-news at www.easl.com.au/subscribe
