Council is committed to ensuring trees within public spaces are inspected and maintained on a regular basis.

These sites include pre-schools, maternal health and education centres, government buildings, libraries, parks and reserves.

We run a cyclic program over four years, with sites designated by their usage:

  • Very High – pre-schools, maternal health and education centres, government buildings and libraries (Every year)
  • High – high usage parks and reserves (Every 2nd year)
  • Moderate – moderate usage parks and reserves (Every 2nd  year)
  • Low – low usages parks and reserves (every 4th Year)

Our aim is to make sure any problems are caught early and risks are mitigated. Your safety is our priority.
