Council is constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Edward Road and Paynes Road, Chirnside Park to improve road safety, reduce the risk of crashes, and enhance traffic flow.
The intersection has been identified as a high-risk location, with a documented history of crashes. The project is funded by the Federal Government through the Roads to Recovery and Black Spot Programs.

Works to install drainage pipes on the eastern side of the roundabout are taking place between July - August.
A single lane, alternating traffic arrangement will be in place during this time.
Motorists will continue to be able to access the intersection from all directions and turn in all directions, though minor delays are expected.
