Queer Youth Writer's Collective (QYWC)
Looking to develop your writing skills and meet like-minded creatives?
The Queer Youth Writer's Collective (QYWC) is starting up at Mooroolbark Library this May!
This is a project led by a young community member, funded by the Victorian Government through the Healthy Equal Youth program. It is aimed at LGBTIQA+ people or allies aged 16 to 25, with an interest in writing and books. The Yarra Ranges Youth Development team auspices the project, and offer various supports.
What you can expect from the QYWC:
- workshops
- guest speakers
- social connection
- skill-building opportunities
- a group made for young people, by young people!
