Warburton Paid Parking Pilot Project

Under the Warburton Paid Parking Pilot Project, parking will remain free in Warburton on Monday-Friday, except public holidays. Timing restrictions still apply.

On weekends and public holidays, some car parks in town will be metered. Yarra Ranges residents can apply for permits, which will allow them to use these car parks for free (timing restrictions will still apply). Visitors to the region can pay at meters, or using the PayStay app to get their first hour of parking free.

This project was introduced in May 2025, and is a pilot project running until July 2026. Following this, the project will be reviewed.

Residents can apply for a permit anytime online or over the phone, or during business hours at Council Community Links.
