Step 1.Complete the application form

Enter the project details, including the planning application number, site details, copy of plans, quote and cost of works.

Step 2.Pay the initial application fee

A fee of $5,500 is required at the time of submission. The fee comprises a:

  • $5,000 maintenance bond
  • $500 inspection/surveillance fee.

Note: If the total cost of works exceeds $20,000, the inspection/surveillance fee increases to 2.5% of the total cost. Any amount above the initial $500 will be invoiced separately after we review your application.

Step 3.Application review and additional invoicing

  • Council will assess your application.
  • If applicable, we will issue an invoice for any additional inspection/surveillance fees (beyond the initial $500).

Step 4.Complete works, final inspection and bond refund

  • Once the works are complete, contact Council to book a final inspection.
  • If the inspection is satisfactory, we will refund the $5,000 bond to the original payer.
