Kilsyth Recreation Reserve Playspace

The new playspace will include:

Nature play elements, which include a timber-themed playspace, including timber play units, natural logs and rocks.

Accessibility of equipment is achieved by a new sealed path, which will connect to the existing car park and Greeves Drive.

New seating, a picnic table and drinking fountain will be introduced to enhance the family outdoor experience.

A rope climbing structure and a double slide, will be included as part of the main play unit to support more challenging physical play.

Nature play logs, a swing set and an accessible carousel will also be installed with rubber patches for safe play.

The location of the playspace is close to existing canopy trees and some new landscaping has been included to provide future shade.

It is expected that work will commence early next year with completion expected mid 2026.
