For too long, the women who shaped Australia have been overlooked. Their stories have been forgotten, erased, or left out of the history books completely. It’s time to change that. In collaboration with the team at She Shapes History, Yarra Ranges Regional Museum presents Badass Women of the Yarra Ranges.
Expressions 5 is the sixth major exhibition by the Yarra Ranges Photographic Society at The Arts Centre Warburton. It showcases diverse photographic works by amateur artists, offering a platform for creative expression and inviting viewers to engage thoughtfully with each image.
At its core, Necessity of Fragility is a shrine of mourning and celebration, exploring loss, memory, and emotional resilience. It serves not only as the artist’s journey but also as a shared space for collective healing, encouraging audiences to confront difficult emotions in a supportive environment.
