Apply for a clothing bin permit

Before you start

You need to apply for a permit if you want to place a clothing bin on Council land.

The clothing bin site must be safe and have convenient access for members of the public. The area surrounding the clothing bin must remain clear of any loose materials. Materials in the clothing bin must not rot or cause offensive odours.

The following fees apply for clothing bin permits.

Application   $103.00
Renewal  $82.50

 

Fees are inclusive of GST.

You will need to provide:

  • a photo or diagram of the clothing bin (optional)
  • a description and measurements of the clothing bin
  • the proposed location of the clothing bin.

Ensure you have a current Public Liability Insurance Policy for at least $10 million.
