The Belgrave Food Garden project has 3 aims
1. Provide access to education and space for growing and harvesting and utilise healthy food
2. Reactivate under-utilised space
3. Provide space and opportunities for communities to connect
We hope to achieve these aims and more by setting up the garden beds in Belgrave as an outdoor learning environment. The beds will be a space to learn new skills and grow and harvest healthy food.
These aims are achieved via a series of workshops and working bees throughout the year.
We encouraging all of the community to visit the garden at any time to share the produce and enjoy the space.
