The students of Warburton Primary School have filmed their own Acknowledgement of the Wurundjeri Traditional Owners of the land on which they learn, play and grow. They invite you to join them for the launch of this short film, which will be followed by a screening of heart-warming family comedy KANGAROO. 

This is a community fundraising event for Warburton Primary School, and a percentage of the profits will also be donated to a First Nations-led organisation. Everyone is welcome! Thank you for supporting your local school.

Synopsis:

KANGAROO is a heart-warming family comedy about ex TV personality, Chris Masterman, who becomes stranded in an Outback town outside Alice Springs. There, he teams up with 12-year-old Indigenous girl Charlie. The pair form an unlikely friendship and work together to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned joeys in the remote but stunning Outback community - an endeavour that proves to be life-changing for them both.
