Yarra Valley Oktoberfest

German beers, schnitzels, pretzels and plenty of lederhosen.

Lilydale is some 16,000 kilometres from Munich but this October the Yarra Valley suburb will host a one-day festival inspired by the famed Munich Oktoberfest.

With a massive beer hall and garden, food trucks, German entertainment, DJs and, of course, beer, the festival is a must for locals and Melbournites alike.

There will be a huge line up of beers, some imported from Munich plus local Yarra Valley favourites, classic German-style eats plus best-dressed, pretzel eating and stein holding competitions.
