Colour - Black - White

Come experience the creativity of Marie Lumsden-Keys and James Lumsden-Keys in their December 2023 exhibition entitled “Colour – Black – White.”

Marie has always had passion for bright colours. In her studio, the combinations of fluoro and bright acrylic paint magically transforms into wild abstract pieces of amazing artworks of varying sizes.

With the cancellation of their exhibition due to Covid, Marie set to work to continue and expand her art stock for when lockdown finished so as to be ready to exhibit once more.

These finished pieces are the result of hard work and long hours and have been created with various implements and brushes. Love and passion shows through each piece.

James participation in the exhibition displays the transformation of past-recorded vision from the early years of film and television, which has now become a digital data library of resource materials, these are then used for artistic design, and audio/visual projection works.

The archival vision will also be treated with soundscape design and displayed on a number of various viewing platforms. By displaying the finished footage on older televisions from last century we will also compare the current artistic treatment on up to date larger wide screens.
