Anglicare Victoria's ParentZone offers all carers and parents a chance to develop and strengthen their parenting skills and create positive change in their family.

They provide free parenting groups, workshops, resources, and training for parents and the professionals who work with them. Their skilled and experienced facilitators tailor the sessions to meet the interests of each group.

ParentZone programs cater to all ages and stages, from newborns to teenagers.

Programs address the stages and challenges faced by parents including family violence and mental health.

This term most groups will continue online, so families will have the flexibility to attend no matter where they live in the Yarra Ranges Muncipality.

Programs that are being offered by Anglicare Victoria this term include Dad’s Matter, Talking Teens, Parenting Preschoolers and Preps, Tuning into Kids, and Living with Autism.

In addition, ParentZone Eastern is delighted to introduce Circles of Security, an 8- week parenting program. Details for all ParentZone Eastern programs can be found on pages 4 and 5 of this newsletter.

First-time parents have not been forgotten and we hope to reach those impacted by the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021. Two new Mums and Bubs groups will be offered in March in partnership with Yarra Ranges Council.
