Olinda Golf Course – Dam Works

Published on 12 October 2017

Olinda Connect
Yarra Ranges Council is currently undertaking repair works to a treatment dam wall within the Olinda Golf Course precinct which is used to service Council and Parks Victoria facilities in Olinda.
The works are occurring after soil has eroded from the dam wall and requires new boulders to reinforce and give strength to the dam walls.
Trucks, excavators and other machinery are onsite to assist with the works and a small section of the National Rhododendron Garden has been temporarily closed until the works are completed.
It is expected that the work will take three days and should be completed on 20 October.
Please note that these works are not a part of the Olinda Precinct Plan, which will be implemented when funding becomes available.
