Tender Tonalities & Mysterious Melodies - River Folk Festival Launch Event

Tender-Tonalities_THUMBNAIL

The Upper Yarra Youth Events Team are very proud to present Tender Tonalities & Mysterious Melodies! Join us for a night of atmospheric, ethereal and tenderly intimate performances at St Mary's Church, Warburton, for the Showcase Launch Event of The River Folk Festival 2019!

Showcasing award-winning international songstress Dana Sipos (Canada), and her captivatingly nuanced songs, filled with wild wind and haunting surrealism, alongside incredible young folk duo Charm of Finches (Melbourne), as they share their signature angelic sibling harmonies and a dark chamber folk sensibility.

In addition to these beautiful artists from the 2019 Festival lineup, we have the Upper Yarra Emerging Artist Showcase - an intimate collection of performances from our very own (and very talented) emerging young local performers!

This event will be organised, managed and run entirely by the incredible Upper Yarra Youth Events Team - a group of talented young Upper Yarra locals who have embarked on our Youth Events Management Course, to learn the skills and responsibilities of managing everything from marketing and promotion, to audio and box office. This event is as much a celebration of the achievements of the Youth Events Team in organising and managing a professional event, as it is about the performers on the night - so come and support our talented young team!
