Paths and Trails Plan Survey

There are many formal paths and trails, such as the Warburton Rail Trail, that provide active options for walking and cycling. There are also many informal local paths that people use to get to schools, shops and parks. The Plan will work out how the local community can make the most of these formal and informal routes.

The main objectives of the Yarra Ranges Path and Trails Plan are:

  • Promoting connections between and within the 55 towns in the Shire
  • Identifying gaps and blocks in the paths and trails network that limit movement
  • Connecting and improving paths and trails
  • Developing innovative and sustainable initiatives supporting active path and trail uses
  • Providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to use the Shire's paths and trails

Have your say on this plan, fill in our survey! Consultation closes Friday 21 December.
