Aboriginal Comedy Allstars

Elaine Crombie is a proud Pitjantjatjara, Warrigmal, South Sea and German descendant with a 20‑plus‑year career. An actor, director, producer, stand‑up comedian, writer and musician, she has extensive theatre experience and is a First Nations Organiser for MEAA, working with Queensland Theatre, Bangarra, Belvoir, Sydney Theatre Company and Malthouse.

Janty Blair is a proud First Nations comedian based in Australia. She won the Deadly Funny Grand Final at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2022 and has since performed nationally and internationally, including at the Brisbane Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe. An experienced facilitator and keynote speaker, Janty uses comedy to inspire joy and community action.

Jay Wymarra is a Torres Strait Islander and First Nations performer of Saibai Koedal, Meriam and Gudang/Yadaykenu heritage. Known for stand‑up, MC work and drag persona Rhianna Mation, his highlights include touring Torres Queer, two Deadly Funny Grand Finals, ABC’s Rosehaven, and appearances in the Comedy Zone and Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.

Kevin Kropinyeri is one of Australia’s most established Aboriginal comedians, proudly from the Ngarrindjeri Nation of South Australia. A high‑energy, observational performer, he blends warmth, silliness and physical comedy. A Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow regular with numerous TV credits, Kevin is a leading voice in Indigenous performing arts.

Sean Choolburra is a dynamic First Nations performer of Gu‑Gu‑Yalanji, Kalkadoon, Kandju and Bwgcolman heritage from Townsville and Palm Island. Blending comedy, storytelling, traditional dance and didgeridoo, he is a powerful cultural ambassador. Founder of Ngaru Dance Company, Sean has toured internationally and performed with Bangarra Dance Theatre worldwide.
