Museum After Dark

The museum comes alive after dark. In partnership with YAVA, experience four extraordinary artists performing with exclusive access to exhibitions and activities.  

We’ve invited four local artists to each select an object from the 1X4 exhibition and perform a short response or ‘interpretation’ through their respective mediums. 

Newcastle Museum’s exhibition 1X4 offers not just one, but four interpretations for each historical object: www.1x4.com.au. This innovative format encourages multiple stories and creative departure points.
