A flyer with details about the CoVideo Film Competition.

Covideo Short Film Competition is an online film festival inviting young people to tell their own stories, real or imaginary, in the strangest year in living memory. You don’t need to be a pro, you can shoot your film on your phone or any device you can get hold of.

Covideo is open to people aged 12 to 25 living, working, schooling or playing (sport, art, scouts etc) and/or working in the Yarra Ranges local government area.

Films entered into Covideo must be 1 to 3 minutes long, and include the feature item “Mask”, which must be seen, spoken or otherwise referenced during each short film entry.

COVID-19 has impacted the lives of us all in 2020, affecting the way we think about the world and our place in it. It’s time to turn your experiences and ideas into movies! Open to first-time and experienced film-makers alike, we invite you to get creative and share your story! Entries will be judged by an amazing panel of judges, including internationally renowned Australian director Rolf de Heer!

Covideo film competition has proudly been designed and organised on Wurundjeri Country.
