Landslides

Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Ferny Creek/Tremont

Council  worked closely with relevant agencies and emergency services in relation to a 40x70 metre landslip which resulted in the loss of a vacant property on Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Ferny Creek.

The need for make safe works to manage hazardous trees and asbestos, as well as power, gas and water impacts, resulted in the closure of the road which was fully re-opened on 17 January. Council continues to assist the property owner and immediate neighbours.
