Construction is now complete on a new water play park and playground at the Warburton Community Recreation Precinct.

The project resulted in the dilapidated pool being turned into a water play park, playspace and recreation area for people of all ages.

There is also a fabulous picnic and barbecue area, brand new toilet facilities and amazing water features to be enjoyed by everyone.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the drenching bucket which looks amazing.

The Federal Government has provided $1.7m funding for the project through the Regional Growth Fund, while Council committed $2.8 million.

The Warburton Advancement League provided $20,000 for a train engine with junior slide, and the Warburton Sports Centre Committee $120,000 funded the remaining playspace items.
